The Creator (Genesis 1)

Main Point:  I can trust the Creator of everything with everything.

I. God is always in control of all creation. (v.1-2)
            A. Hope in the Creator, not in the creation.
            B. God is revealed as triune—three-in-one. (cf. v.26, Acts 4:24, John 1:1-3,
Psalm 104:30)
            C. God forms and fills disordered lives with purpose and beauty.
(2 Corinthians 4:6, 5:17)

II. God has set the boundaries of my life. (v.3-13)
           
A. Jesus is the only source of light and life..
            B. God’s people are to separate from the darkness of sin.
            C. God’s boundaries preserve the life He created.

III. God fills my life with purpose. (v.14-31; 2:7)
            A. I am made to be with others and to worship God.
            B. God enables growth.
            C. Human life is the most precious thing God has created.
