Passage: Nehemiah 13:1-14

Main Point: Every area of my life belongs to the God who redeemed me.

I. Revival and reform needs to by my lifestyle. (1-3)
A. When I read the Bible, I see myself as God sees me. (1 Corinthians 10:11)
B. God will give me understanding as I obey in faith. (James 1:23-24)



C. Don’t wait to obey. (Genesis 12:1-3; Numbers 22-24; 1 Kings 11:1-10; Joshua 2; Ruth 1:16)
II. Compromise effects everything. (v.4-14)
A. When I let the world in, I push the Lord out.
B. Disobedience is met with God’s purifying anger. (John 2:13-16; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20)



C. Disobedience is met with God’s correcting discipline.
D. Serving God is about pleasing Him—not self or others.
