Passage:  John 3:16-21

Main Point:  God’s radical love overpowers evil.

I. God loves the world with sacrificial love.   (16-17)
            A. The world is hostile toward God.
            B. But God invaded the world anyway.

II. The sinner has been granted the chance to be saved.   (18)
            A. The act of faith results in forgiveness.
            B. Continuing in disbelief results in condemnation.

III. When all was lost, love entered anyway.   (19-21)
            A. The light entered a dark world.
            B. God knew that not everyone would respond.
            C. But love led to life for many.
