Main Idea: Identify with Christ by remembering how He meets your greatest need.

I. God abhors idolatry. (v.14)
            A. Idolatry is a spiritual heart condition.
            B. An idol is anything that takes the place of Jesus.
            C. Idols take control of your life.

II. Communion is about unity in Christ. (15-18)
            A. We identify with Christ.
            B. We belong to one another
            C. Israelite identity was expressed in worship.

III. Idolatry is separation from Christ. (19-22)
            A. Nothing is spiritually neutral.
            B. You only have one master. (cf. Matt 6:24).
            C. The answer to idolatry is separation from it.
            D. The means of separation is devotion to Christ.
