Passage:  Colossians 3:12-17

Main Idea:  Live as the New man, doing everything for Christ as He leads us.

I. As believers we are to live as the new man (12-13)
            A. We have been set apart and are beloved by God (12a)
            B. There are behaviors we must put on: (12b-13a)
                        1.  A heart of compassion
                        2.  Kindness
                        3.  Humility
                        4.  Gentleness
                        5.  Patience
                        6.  Bearing with one another
                        7.  Graciously forgiving each other
            C. Just as we have been forgiven by Jesus, we are to forgive one another (13b)

II. We are to put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity (14)
            A. Love is incredibly important
            B. Love binds everything together

III. Live a God Centered Life (15-17)
            A. Let Christ rule your life and peace will come (15)
            B. Our Worship is informed by God’s Word (16)
            C. Do everything in the name of Christ (17)
