Main Point:  Think long term about the life you live.

I. Psalms teach us life lessons.  (1-2)
            A. Psalm 90 is the oldest Psalm in the Bible.
            B. Psalm 90 begins with the protection of God.

II. The brevity of life invites us to be wise about life.   (3-12)
            A. We are reminded daily that life is brief.
            B. The curse on humanity is relentless.
            C. The lesson is to live with wisdom.

III. Wisdom belongs to those who live in light of eternity.   (13-17)
            A. We live in joy when we live with God.
            B. We trust our future to a loving God.
            C. We invest in that which is eternal.
