Passage:  Romans 8:15

Main Point:  Those who trust God are free from fear.

I. Fear is a lack of faith.
            A. Sometimes we fear the future.
            B. Sometimes we fear the unknown.
            C. Sometimes we fear the routine.
            D. Sometimes we fear the heart of God.

II. God’s children have freedom from fear.
            A. We are not slaves but sons.  (Romans 8:15-17)
            B. We are not in fear but of power.  (2 Timothy 1:7)
            C. Fear is driven out by love.  (1 John 4:18)

III. We defeat fear by trusting God.
