God’s Power for Salvation (Romans 1:16-32)

Main Point:  The gospel is God’s power for salvation over all evil.

I. The human heart denies the truth about God.  (v18-23)
            A. Mankind is without excuse.  (18-20)
            B. Claiming to be wise, they are foolish.  (21-23)

II. Therefore, God grants them the desires of their heart.  (v24-32)
           
A. They are given over to degrading idolatry.  (24-25)
            B. They are given over to sexual perversion.  (26-27)
            C. They are given over to depraved thinking.  (28-32)

III. But the gospel is the power of God for salvation.  (16-17)
            A. God’s power brings salvation to all.  (16)
            B. Salvation is available to all by faith.  (17)
