Passage:  Romans 8:18-25

Main Point:  We are given a hope that will persevere.

I. Our hope looks beyond this world.  (v18)
            A. God’s kids share in Jesus’ suffering and glory.
            B. God’s kids understand suffering is temporary.
            C. God’s kids expect new, sinless bodies when Jesus returns.

II. This world provides no answers.  (v19-22)
            A. Nature is broken because of sin.  (v19)
            B. God will heal nature when His kids are resurrected.  (v20-21)
            C. A broken nature cries out to be reborn.  (v22)

III. Hope does not give up.  (v23-25)
            A. The Holy Spirit give desire for what is to come.  (v23)
            B. Living by faith results in hope.  (v24)
            C. Hopeful eyes of faith are not dismayed.  (v25)
