Passage:  Ephesians 1:3-9

Main Point:  Worship our faithful God  who saves us from faithlessness.

I. Look for the fruit of faith.
            A. God provides everything we need for growth.
                 (Ephesians1:3-9; 2:10; cf. Isaiah 5:1-2)
            B. The fig tree was a picture of faithlessness.

            C. Israel failed to be fruitful for God.

II. Look for God to “literally” keep his promises.
            A. Many promises have been kept.

            B. Some are for Israel into the future.

            C. God remains faithful to Israel.

III. I can trust this God who saves.
            A. Don’t let faith be your stumbling block
            B. Thank God for his plan of salvation.
            C. Pray for others, especially Jews, to be saved.
