Passage:  Philippians 4:10-23

Main Point:  Generosity is a sign of contentment and growth in Jesus.

I. Contentment is not elusive for Christians.  (v 10-13)
            A. Giving because of Jesus has the greatest impact.
            B. God teaches contentment in every situation.
            C. Satisfaction is always found in Jesus, Himself.

II. Christian contentment results in worship.  (v 14-18)
            A. It is good to join with Christians who suffer.
                        1. Pray for and with them.
                        2. Spend time with them.
                        3. Help meet physical needs.
            B. Our goal is to know Jesus more.
            C. God values your service as a great act of worship.

III. The content Christian wants to see God glorified.  (v 19-23)
            A. Confidently rest in God’s ability to care for you.
            B. Relentlessly pursue unity in the church.
