Passage:  Genesis 25:1-34

Main Point:  Trust the good God, who blesses all who receive the Son.

I. We are blessed with a righteousness by faith. (1-11)
            A. Thank God and be a blessing to others. (cf. 24:1)
            B. Salvation comes only through the promised Son (Jesus).
            C. Have a faith in God that your kids will remember.

II. We are blessed because God is faithful. (12-18)
            A. If I have not trusted in Christ, my story will end.
            B. Believe God and experience the freedom of forgiveness.

III. We are blessed with God’s unchangeable plan. (19-34)
            A. Times of testing teach me the value of prayer.
            B. Divine sovereignty doesn’t cancel out human responsibility.
            C. Don’t overlook the value of your salvation.
            D. Wait on God’s timetable and methods.
