Main Point:  A life in Christ is a life that loves others as He loved us.

I. Jesus Christ is the center of a life that matters.
            A. The Vine is cultivated for more fruit.
            B. Salvation comes by faith, fruit comes by abiding.
            C. The goal is disciples who bear much fruit.

II. The Christ-centered life is one of obedience to Him.
            A. Abiding in Christ leads to much fruit.
            B. Keeping Christ’s commandments results in abiding.

III. The obedience He commands is to love one another.
            A. Loving one another is our duty and our joy.
            B. We obey as friends, not as robots.
            C. The command is to love one another.
