Main Point:  People respond to Jesus hot, cold or lukewarm.

I. Some respond to Jesus with their whole heart.
            A. A Roman commander believes the Lord.
            B. Jesus is amazed at his faith in contrast to Israel.
            C. Many are glad to receive the healing Jesus offers.

II. Some respond half-heartedly.
            A. The Lord’s ministry is not easy.
            B. The cost of ministry is high.
            C. The Twelve struggle to trust the Lord.

III. Some respond with a cold heart.
            A. The demons are completely defeated.
            B. The people ask the Lord to leave.
