Passage:  Matthew 28:16-20

Main Idea:  Worship the King by trusting in Him and telling others of Him.

I. Join Jesus in what He is doing.  (19-20a)
         A. Attach yourself to the Teacher and learn from Him. (cf. Mk 3:13-14)
         B. Identify with Jesus and join those following Him. (cf. Acts 2:41-47)
         C. Understand the scriptures so you can explain them. (cf. Lk 24:44-45; Mk 3:14)

II. I am not adequate for this task. (16-17)
            A. Jesus calls us from fear to faith.
            B. Replace self-doubt with Christ-confidence. (cf. Matt 14:31)
            C. The only path to adequacy is to trust in a sufficient Savior. (cf. Ex 3:11-12; Judg. 6)

III. Go to all nations because Jesus is King of all nations. (18, 20B)
            A. Daniel’s vision about the Son of Man has be fulfilled. (Dan 7)
            B. Go in the victorious confidence of the cross.
            C. Jesus is with you.
