Main Point:  Follow Jesus with humble faith and patiently love one another.

I. Grasp the core of the Christian message. (30-32)
            A. Take the time and let Jesus shape you.
            B. Jesus as fully God and Man became my Redeemer.
            C. Reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus.

II. Jesus radically reverses the meaning of greatness. (33-42)
            A. Jesus patiently knows my ambitions and fears.
            B. Jesus calls me to be humble and trustful.
            C. Jesus calls me to accept and serve other believers.

III. To go toward sin is to go away from Jesus. (43-50)
            A. Quickly remove temptation.
            B. Remember the eternal cost of sin.
            C. Following Jesus makes peace possible.
