Main Point:  A transformed life is powerful, walking in hope.

I. I have hope because God keeps promises.
            A. Don’t let the fear of failure paralyze your walk of faith.
            B. God is in the encouragement business.
            C. God brings about his plan for your life in his way, in his time.

II. God transforms fear into faith in action.
            A. Rahab heard the message and met the messengers.  (Deuteronomy 2:25)
            B. Rahab believed, rejecting the culture around her.
            C. Rahab displayed the scarlet cord, the mark of the covenant.
            D. Rahab waited for salvation in enemy territory
            E. Rahab is in the family of Jesus the Messiah.
