New life in Christ unites us as one family, with one purpose. (v.1-2)

1. God’s redemptive plan is at the core of all history.
2. This plan is at the core of my identity.
3. We join in God’s mission to see others saved from sin.

We are thankful for those who have gone before us. (v.3-5)

1. The shame of sin is removed by faith, in Jesus. (Ps. 51:3-7)
2. The Gospel is entrusted from one generation to the next.
3. Faith must be demonstrated and received.

My identity and mission are found in Jesus Christ. (v.6-7)

1. Watch out for weariness, distraction and fear.
2. Keep on going, don’t give up!
